Close to the train station and to most of the turistic places to visit at Florence, comfortable, clean and big enough for more than 5 people!
Location close to the train station. Charming apartment.
The apartment 19 (Adresse: Albero 16) we have ave got (we booked 16) is extremely noise because of the traffic in the small street where it is located. Not to recomend for longer stays.
Central location. Roof beams and decor added character to the accommodation. When we had issues they were dealt with quickly by staff.
Beds a bit uncomfortable. Noisy due to discotheque opposite. Initially there were a number of things amiss: eg. Toilet roll, toaster not working., blown bulbs, lack of blankets but all these were rectified shortly after we raised them.
The side of town the apartment was on was convenient to the train station, but it was on a busy street with trash receptacles right outside the bedroom windows that were emptied late at night and early each morning.
The apartment was very noisy at night and in the early morning. The shower was very small and the door did not close properly. The staff was available via cell phone, but directions on the website did not lead to the hotel, but to an office quite a distance away. Not a fun walk in the dark at the end of a long day.
Very nice location. nice and warm apartment.
There where only one room in the apartment, not two as it said on the internet page. The DVD player did not work, and the kitchen was not fully equipment, as it said. We didn't get the address before we made a call, even though we asked for it twice on email.
I only liked its geographic situation : all the historic monuments were at less ten minutes feet. The Santa Maria Novella was very near : only ten minutes feet to go to the appartment.
The address wasn't the same that the address indicated ont the map on the Internet site, we had to wait for one hour before the responsable came and the phone number didn't work for 1h 30 ; there wasn't hot water and heating for two days. And the agence needed two days to solve this problem ; under the sink the crokery was dirty and we only had a very little coffee machine whereas we were four persons ; there wasn't enough covers and the appartment was cold without heating. Final problem : the lamps didn't work and the agence didn't replace them. don't rent with them !!!. I rented many appartments in Italy, in Spain, in usa.. and it was the first time that the appartment wasn't correct !!!.
Was nice to stay at center at a typical local apartment. As family we enjoy and was nice decorated. All small shops around. Little noisy but so many people around so .....strong life by day and night. I recommend because we would like to stay more time there......special my oldest kids!
The apartment was clean enough and everyone nice. Except from the livingroom covers that where really dirty and the kitchen towels that smelled as if they were used. But we told them and they where really willing to improve that!
I think they should change the cleaning crew.
The location was the best part, right next to the train station.
It was an apartment, so they don't clean it but we needed more towels and toilet paper. They said they'd bring more over when we called, but never did. The showers spilled water everywhere since they were open air. There needs to be a sqeegee or something to mop up the water.
Rooms were big enough, kitchen and one of the bedrooms with air conditioning. Good value for money, located at walking distance to the historical centre of Florence.
After I made the online reservation I expected at least one message offering directions on how to get there and confirming the address of the apartment but they didn't contant me. I have to spend time and money chasing them, the contact number wasn't working, I sent an email and they didn't answer it either. Only after I compained to Booked.net somebody called me and gave me an address. Nevertheless, already in Italy they sent me a text changing the address...Awful service.
The location of the appartment was very good. The time we stayed was very hot and there was only one cooler fan in the appartment, which was not at all enough for cooling the place. Luckily, the neighbour appartment was empty and the lady was friendly enough to move the fan to our bed room and we were able to sleep.
The floors were dirty and the air-conditioner was too small for the whole apartment.
It was close to the centre of Florence. It had a washing machine. One of the few we had encountered. Thanks.
Poor airconditioning and very uncomfortable beds.
The location is perfect (close to the train station and other major sites). The apartment we stayed is very classy and charming. The staff was very helpful. I locked myself out one morning and the staff Simone went out of his way to help me. Excellent service.
The apartment was surprisingly large, the rooms were well sized and adequately furnished, along with a sizeable kitchen which it lent itself to some 'home' cooking on some nights to save a couple of Euros that would otherwise be spent in a restaurant. The hotel was really close to all the major car hire pick-ups making picking up a car for the onward journey a cinch. Great value for money and in a good location if you're not shy of a little walking.
The need to pay with cash was annoying, considering that the booking was made with a card and no prior notice was provided. The need to call someone to get an address and have them meet you there was a little annoying, especially with substantial amounts of luggage, and in our case a little baby. After arriving a number of hours after an already later than usual check-in to an apartment that was not completely ready (due to previous late leavers) to be reminded about a prompt check-out was very cheeky and disorganised.
